Seasonal Slip Lottery
The Annual Seasonal Slip Lottery is now available.
Please read the instructions carefully before applying.
Applications are available between March 4-31, 2026.
2026 Seasonal Slip Lottery Instructions
- The lottery application period for Summer 2026 is available March 4-31, 2026.
- The available seasonal slips and their dimensions are posted below these instructions. If additional seasonal slips become available, the list will be updated.
- Applications must be submitted online. If you need help submitting your application, please call (304) 872-1331.
- Applications are due no later than March 31, 2026, and the order in which applications are received does not matter.
- The lottery drawing will be held in April 2026 with the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the results will be posted on this page.
- An applicant can apply for a seasonal slip in the lottery only one time per vessel per year. If you have two or more boats, submit only one application and list each of your boats on that application.
- Multiple owners of a vessel can only submit one application in the name of one vessel owner.
- Current 2026 seasonal slip customers cannot apply in 2026.
- Payment of $20.00 is required of lottery applicants. This processing fee will be paid online when you submit your application.
- If you are selected for a seasonal slip, you will be contacted with instructions on how to claim it. Seasonal slips will be awarded based on lottery rank and compatible vessel dimensions for the available seasonal slips.
- If you are selected for a seasonal slip and you accept a shore slip for a pontoon boat, you cannot later request a dock slip during your 5-year term.
- Seasonal slips are awarded for a 5-year term, with the exception of houseboat mooring slips that are awarded for a 10-year term or temporary slips that are awarded for a 1-year term.
- If you are not selected for a seasonal slip, the lottery list will be used until September 13, 2026 to fill any additional vacant slips in 2026.
- Please read the slip contract below for further rules you must abide by if you are selected for a seasonal slip.

- $44.00 per linear foot - Mooring (Houseboats only)
- $38.00 per linear foot - Shore (Pontoons only)
- $400.00 for Personal Watercraft
- Seasonal slips are tax exempt.
